Nurse Assistant Clinical (NAC) – 2 Years
The Nurse Assistant Clinical (NAC) programme at Family Health University is a two-year certificate course that prepares students for entry-level clinical support roles in healthcare. The curriculum includes foundational training in patient care, basic clinical skills, communication, and professional practice.
Completing this programme enables graduates to support professional nurses and midwives in clinical settings. After successful completion, NAC graduates also have pathways to progress into diploma or degree programmes in nursing and midwifery through top-up options.

1. Credit passes (A1-C6) that is aggregate 36 or better in the following courses would be eligible for admission:
- General Science
- General Arts
- Home Economics (Food and Nutrition option)
- General Agriculture with (Chemistry, Physics or Biology, Elective Mathematics)
2. DIPLOMA NURSE’S ENTRY:
Candidates with diploma in registered general nursing awarded by institutions recognized by the National Accreditation Board (NAB) and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) of Ghana and the following:
- Transcript with
- NMC certificate
- NMC PIN
- Birth certificate
- WASSCE/SSSCE
3. ENROLLED NURSES’ (POST HAC/NAC TOP-UP) ENTRY:
- Transcript with
- NMC certificate
- NMC AIN
- Birth certificate
- WASSCE/SSSCE
- Participate and pass a six-week access course with the school.
